| I'm listening to it now. OK, it cuts off abruptly at 19 seconds. Sounded great up until then though. Reminded me of Thievery Corporation (which gets heavy rotation here). Can you post more of the track?? |

| Overall, it's a very cool track, rich with vibe. The instrumental stuff is spot-on, with the quickness. Problem: The MC's verses sound muddy and unintelligable. Solution: > Boost vocal EQ at 2.9khz to enhance enunciation. > Cut vocal EQ with a low shelf around 300hz to diminish the muddyness > Compress to taste > Then bring volume up in the mix to taste Listen to the way Jay-Z's raps are EQ'd for reference. | I like what you did with the MC's vocals in the chorus, though. That sh*t rocks. But you gots to get those verses clean and upfront. |
