| Superb The Recording is amazing!!!!! Musicianship is not that bad either!! :) I would say from a mix perspective the lead guitar should come down just a tad, I realize whats trying to be achieved here.... But it has this weird phase issue where I feel the lead is being played in another room... Over all, this is really really good!!! Oh yeah Ecktronic, how the hell can you master from an MP3? LOL |

Mastering can be done from any format. What do you think of my master compared to the original mix? I feel I made it alot more professional sounding by bringing more life to it. Eck

| I actually feel that the "mastered" version has a significant improvement. What did you use? The original recording is nice, though, good job. |

I digitally mastered it in Wavelab. I used EQ to bring out the frequencies I felt would improve the overall sound, and I used EQ to cut the problem frequencies to clean up the mix. I also used a small amount of compression, about 2dB of. I finally applied an L2 to bring the overall volume up a bit and then applied normal dither at 16bit (in L2). When I master I try to use as little plug-ins as possible to try and keep a more organic sound. Eck
