| ok. good song. good vocal technique. very catchy and heartfelt. the mix sounds pretty good (better than most self-described 'newbie' mixes by far)!! it sounds either mastered or pre-mastered; did you have this mastered or did you do the work yourself?? i am impressed! i would say that i don't love the vocal processing, however.. there is a 'chorus'-y or wierd reverberation effect going on that is not a problem later in the mix, however, at the beginning when the vocal is naked, it is distracting. overall, very good work, and welcome to the forums/thanks for posting!! you will have this down pat in no time and if you are the songwriter then kudos because the song is well written!! keep it up and repost any later versions for us! cheers. ~j.d.
