I think that it is far too mid-rangy. I think the vocals are mixed very well, but the music is a little brittle, so when the vocals enter it is quite striking. Less mids, more highs, less low-mids and more lows...that might make the song sound larger and more life like. I like the mid range punch on the kick, however i feel like you could cut around 300 Hz more than you did (if you did). right now the kick sounds like I want more low end, but i don't want to raise the level of the mid range thing you have on it (1k beater to head sound). I'd first sweep around 200-400 Hz with a narrow Q and find the ugly zone, then cut it, as you cut it, bring up a low shelf to compensate for the good frequencies you are removing. get that in balance, then raise the level of the kick track, and as you raise it lower the gain around 1k (or wherever you are boosting for that slap sound). once the low end sound thick enough and it isn't too slappy you'll have a much improved sound. I hope that works and I hope other people enter their feedback, it helps us all...good luck

Wink I LIKE THE SOUND

I thought the track sounded good. This is death metal, right? It had a decent death metal sound. The advice given above sounded okay, but I wouldn't mess with it too much. Death metal is suppose to sound like this does, unless you are aiming for another type of sound. Good luck...peace.
