Cool Rock/Pop Song, Critiques please

Hi all,

just looking for some feedback, i think i'm making some progress with this mix, but it's definately not 100%, so any criticism would be cool.

Hi Jyeah.

I think that you need to EQ those guitars a little, the same goes with snare.
And snare is too loud IMHO.
Kick and bass guitar have some issues. They are "eating" each other.
Vocal is not that interesting.

Try panning those guitars L 100 and R 100. it seems like there is no space for the instruments.

The bass and kick don't seen to have much separation. They get in the way of one another instead of compliment each other. I can't comment on the guitars because I don't know what sound you're going for, but I would try to get a bit more separation with them.

What mic was used for the vocal? The vocal was too rough-edged for me, almost sounding distorted on a few notes.

Keep plugging! Looking for the remix.
