Plugin's passing static example PT 7.3.1

So I upgraded to 7.3.1...

I've been running into an issue with plug in's passing nasty distortion when audio is being played through them. It's happened with Waves, Eventide, Cranesong, and even digi plug ins. I'm not getting ANY type of error message, which sucks larvi wenis (get s me paranoid about what else it may be doing to my audio). The meters seem to be representing the distortion I'm hearing. When I bypass (or disable)the plug in, the distortion goes away. Anyone else run into this?

Here's the examples.
Warning- The second clip has extreme distortion- monitor at low volumes!!!

Sometimes a reboot fixes it. Sometimes several reboots do.

I've heard horrible things about 7.3

Perhaps you should go back to 7.2?

I'm about to... I didn't have this issue when I was on 7.3 but upgraded to 7.3.1 to avoid any of those god forsaken loss of audio bugs. This one sucks big time because I've already been blasted on the mains and I'm still trying to get my heart to beat regularly again.

We upgraded from 7.2 'directly' to 7.3.1.

I held-out upgrading to the initial 7.3 release. Way to buggy.

I installed 7.3 then restarted. I then immediatley installed the 7.3.1 upgrade never having opened 7.3.

Are you still having issues?

This thing is rock solid over here.

Perhaps, we were able to bypass the hiccups.
