| putting myself out there, hip hop - ish instrumental This has been a project of mine for quite some time. I still don't consider it a 'finished' track. But I've put a lot of time and effort into this one. I started this track a long time ago, when I didn't really know shit, and the whole thing has really changed completely since its inception. I really need opinions from people other than biased friends. So let me have it. Thoughts on the mix preferred. I don't really have any clue where the feel of this song is taking me, but thoughts on that are fair game too...

| I really like it Hey there, I only listened to it on Grado's the 60's, there not that strong on bass, but even on those the kick sounded too loud, only because the track has such a nice relaxed vibe to it, not sleepy mind you. its lively to my ears, in a chilled out way. I could go on about all the changes i would make but whats the point its Your song, otherwise it would be mine! I like that sort of short effect synth that comes in, i dunno it sort of sounds like an LFO'ed Harp, it comes in at 30 seconds and then its on every two bars for 8 bars. (i think) I like the Guitar that comes in about 2:10 I like these sort of tracks when you've got a nice vocalist who really has things to share. My only criticism though is the synths, the bass could pass, but the pad and the guitarish sound thats going through a phaser or filter doesnt sound smooth to me. But still dont let that get you down, we've all got to make do with what we have or can afford |

This has just been one of those songs that took on a life of it's own. I'd have to do some serious digging, don't even know if I have the file still, but if you heard where it came from you wouldn't even think it was the same song. I'll definitely take your thoughts into consideration. Once again, thanks for taking the time to listen
