| Bosendorfer piano This is really more a test than anyting else, only a test. If it had been a real Bosendorfer piano, you would have been instructed to--wait, it IS a real Bosendorfer piano!

| Lives for gear | Sounds cool aside from the foot pedal noise. What did you record it with? This isn't one of those gigastudio things is it?

| Sounds nice; I'm not fond of those low thumps though. Strange how the panning matches the players perspective. bcgood ![]() |

| A real Bosendorfer, a 9'2" if I'm not mistaken. The kind with several acres of shiny bronze real estate under the hood. I've got two Sputniks very tight on the lowest and highest ridges of the "harp," and then a pair of Earthworks QTC 30's peeking over the edge of the box, at about midway along the curve. I like the closeness and sense of drama, but damn that foot pedal! I keep imagining slipping tiny "pillows" about the size of a thimble into the mechanism. Or, maybe fresh steaming won-tons from a won-ton soup....

| It's got 88 keys, and the lower register really rattles the windowpanes.
