Pre master/Post master

Here is a track I did a little while back and was just asked to master it as well. So I am posting the pre/post master versions of the song.

seems like people are interested in hearing the differences!

Tracking was done on a low budget with their system of a M-Audio interface and converters. The pres were all mine as well as mics.

API 3124
Vintech 473
C Labs
Tube Tech MEC1a
Avalon 737
Great River

Vox were a Peluso 2247LE with a C Labs pre and a summit TLA100 compresor.

You have to realize that the room was built with blankets and drywall just stacked up. For some reason I was on this low budget recording kick, but it all worked out I think.

Mixed ITB with PT LE and the usual plugs.....

Not at all happy with the vox but they wanted a more modern metal sound, like Bullet for My Valentine...

i can see how you might not be happy w/the vox, but that sound (on the vocals) IS the modern metal sound (that a lot of people want to emulate)....

the mix/master turned out great IMO!
good work!

cheers.
