| thrash metal mix I begin to mix a 11 songs album, and this is my first shot to the mix : http://sylvain.raulin.free.fr/Kwato3.wav This is my second one : http://sylvain.raulin.free.fr/Kwato4.wav The mixes are peaking, but that will give you an idea of where I want to go. I'm trying to make it Andy Sneapish but well, i'm quite far from that uhuh. This is ITB mixing with headphones, and the final mix will be done into the studio with OTB great gear (and good monitors of course). It's a little muddy and lacks air but i'm currently trying to improve that (the guitars were recorded through a MOTU 828, I'd like to rerecord them now that we have the Roseta 800, but the guitarist does not have enough time to do it...). What do you think, suggestions ? It's done in Logic Express 7, with some basic plugs. No toms nor vocals yet. |
