My 2nd remix! All Feedback Welcome

Take a quick listen Lloyd Banks - Im So Fly (remix) that I'm working on.

But, first a lil note about me, I'm a freelance composer producer, and this track was midi sequenced in Reason 3, tracked into Pro Tools LE thru the terrible Mbox1 LOL... Wanted to change the vibe of the track, bring a lil' more music into some of my favorite Hip-Hop tracks. Lemmie know what ya'll think about the track, mix tips, clarity, the beat idea, drums and etc.... This is more or less my true style of production.

All feedback welcome.

edit: snippet track. and please provide a few pointers on the mix. (only have stock PT RTAS plugins)

Hey,

just listened to your mix. The whole thing seems quite a bit muddy, the vocals in particular, It souds like they weren't too well tracked. The rest needs a little work but sounds good, however I would most likely retrack the vocals, they don't sound "pro" to me.

Yeah that's what my engineer told me, I'm quite the terrible mixer myself anyways due to my equip. But, I got the vocals from an acapella, probably need to EQ them to fit the track.
