Kick dull in EDM track

That is a great way to see how everyone is working. I' ve seen people using EQ or multiband compressor to fix this problem. So, what would you do to liven-up this dull kick in an EDM track (except saying the musician to mix it again of course).

That's a good start. By dull I assume the lack of smacky mids?

Yes, and I don't know if I've used the right word, that's why I gave an audio preview in .WAV !

The track is already mixed?
It's tough to say how exactly to make it thwack harder after the fact.
That's because anything you do will affect the rest of the track, unless of course you use a multiband effect or crossover.
I would attempt to distort only the frequencies present at the transient of the kick. I usually don't do it that way but it's a good starting point.
