ok fellas, here's another...Rock band mix

Same band that I posted before. I'm almost finished mixing the record....I wanna give some exposure to this band.

They produced, I mixed.
No grids, no aligning crap, just a solid band.
Tell me what you think ... Money Penny.

Thanks, I eq'd the crap out of it/compression and had a sample underneath that was basically to help the top end.

If you have a chance to briefly explain what no grids and no aligning crap means, I would love to know. As a side note, sometimes people mention as well a term called sample replacing (?) in relation to drums. I don't know what they mean. (maybe there's a super FAQ somewhere?)

What I meant by --no grids/no aligning crap-- is that they didn't play with a click and no beat detective was used. They just played like a band...raw.
When you've heard the term 'Sound replacing', it means replacing or supplementing a kick, snare or toms with a sample.
