| Lives for gear | Writer/Artist seeking feedback
No, not from a guitar amp cranked to 11... from you guys! The singer/writer I'm working with on an album project (we're about 1/2 done) wanted me to post this song. He's sending it off as a songwriting demo, but it's also one of the tracks for the album we're recording. (I'm engineering, playing keys and singing some BVs, also co-producing by default). The genre is Trop Rock (think J Buffett-ish), so he's not looking for advice on being more "cutting edge" . Just interested in how it plays as a mainstream, middle-America pop/rock/country/folk kind of thing. In other words - Will it play in Peoria? (if you get that reference, you're probably as old as I am )Scott |

its nice, needs a little more editing on the the drums and vocals in my opinion. The lyrics are very cool, the vocals have that "thanks for the beer and tequila" feel haha.
