Advice/Feedback for new song 'Gold' by Vinay Sudera

Hey everyone,
I have just finished recording a song, it's the first time recording vocals since buying a Bluebird Mic. Was just wondering if you have any advice on the mixing of vocals. It sounds good to me but I could do with a fresh set of ears. Would like advice on loudness, the equalization of vocals etc. Also, should I be analysing other tracks/acapellas for reference to see what the frequency of vocals are like, or is this pointless as I don't have the same standard of equipment? Also, how would I do this if it is a good idea?

Any comments will be appreciated I've attached the song.

Thanks,
Vin

May be worth saying that the main concern I'm having is with the verses. Should I reduce some lower frequencies cause of the proximity effect? Or should I just re-record them?
