Dear fellow slutz,

in Nov 2012 I recorded for one and a half days with my band The Perfect Pineapple. We set a list of 9 songs to do for the weekend which seemed rather illusive, but at the end of the day we finished early on sunday having recorded each and everyone of them in 2-3 takes. Two weeks later we met up to listen to the takes and make decisions which take to use for our vocal and melodica overdub day.

We only have 4 cuts on the whole record, we finished the vocals and we have been proud of our performances eversince. 80% was rehearsing and 20% recording on that very weekend and it paid off big time.

So my good news is that I made a dream come true of keeping a performance, sticking with it despite some minor faults and finishing fast for the sake of creativity and musical gut feeling.
