Looking for some vocal advice on a track

Hey guys,

So I have this track and I like it, but I feel like it's missing something in the vocals, it's not the most cohesive lyrically but that's fine with me it's how I tend to write, and I don't know if I really care about having something to shove up into the chorus' from the verses but I just feel like there's something else that can be done to give it a little something more. I feel like maybe something in that little area before the end chorus maybe, but I really like it just being instrumental.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Please post the lyrics. Much easier to give a feedback that way IMO.

A couple things (I am a singer btw) I would say the doubles and harmonies need to be tightened up a little bit, and things are a little pitchy, so it makes it take away from your focus. On the harmonies, I would double them as well and through in either a vocal pad, under the chorus or pre chorus, think 2 singles ahh types notes following the music line. Also your pans are a little odd and make it sound a little confusing and unbalanced, this may tighten up if you tighten up the part them selves and that point could be moot. Also in the pre chorus spots try to use more inflection and movement to keep the verse and chorus more interesting. Just my 2 cents

PS I have worked on 100+ songs for videos games, commercials, radio songs etc and though I am not a producer, I have worked with some of the best, so I have picked up a couple cool things. Feel free to message me anytime man!

I would say to try and pronounce all of the words better. Exaggerate every syllable with your mouth. If you are making funny faces and look ridiculous, then you're prolly doing it right.
