My first hip-hop song. Feedback please?

So this is my first hip-hopish song I've done using Logic Pro 9. I'm looking for some feedback/criticism on the pros and cons of the songs so far. This is just a rough mix; I haven't added any compressors, eg, limiters to the master output. I used the Hansa Studio+ reverb through the space designer on a bussed channel and have it is as a send on the drums, the piano and the glitched out effects part. On the glitched out effects section I added some gain the the effect to bring it out right before the glitched snare roll to make it stand out. On the glitched out drums I added channel eq, ringshifter and the bitcrusher to turn on when the snare roll kicks in. I also did a pan from center, hard right to hard left and back to center to give a sort of "vertigo" feel. *lack of a better term*. Listen, enjoy, criticize and feed me your opinions. Thanks.

I would personally use a less abrupt snare sound. The arrangement is fairly sparse so it would probably benefit from something a little longer. I also feel as though there should be a solid bass line throughout. On the whole though i think pretty good

con- I've listened for 15 seconds and im bored... ok this is pretty bad as a "hip hop" track. Pro-Perhaps Frank Ocean could make it into an awesome pop/R&B song

i don't like all the quantization. especially on the drums, hip hop drums usually have a laid back feeling in the quantization but these drums are too straight. add some flavor!

These guys are spot on.

I'm saying this to be constructive, so please appreciate that but you lost me after about 20 secs. Songs are like a story and need a beginning / middle end. The beginning (intro?) seemed to just meander much too long and I lost interest.
