First Band Recording, Impressions? Feedback?

Ok so I recorded my first band recently and was looking for some feedback. I wasn't happy with some of the stuff we did looking back (e.g. Glyn John technique, mic checks etc) but it would be good to get some outside opinions on the tracks.

Rough mix I did -http://soundcloud.com/jamesclark1991/bankrupt-pug-the-thinker-no

2 mixes my recording partner did (He's better at this than me) - http://soundcloud.com/rock-riff-writer/gloomy-welsh-monument

I have all the recording details if you have any questions or feedback

Cheers guys
