Few days ago my friends were recording some rock and roll stuff at my home studio and after that, they recorded this spontaneous blues. Since the day was over, there was lot of beer around, so some mistakes can be heard - mainly through sax solo (the player kicked a mic stand couple of times) and the main vocal went in "red" few times (my mistake because of beer ) That aside I think we made a good recording and I would be greatfull to hear some opinions on sound and playing.
If anyone is interested the setup was - everything (along with singing) was played live, mixed live and recorded to tape (hence the "red" problem a few times). There is no post production, no compressors, effects...just oldschool playing and recording. Tape delay was added while recording, not afterwards.
