Live in the studio analog recordings

Hi,

I've got an analog setup based around a Studer A800, 24 tr, a Trident trimix desk and Studer B62 1/4" for mix.

This is some songs I've tracked and mixed recently. I record with the band including vocals live in my pretty small room.

No digital conversion until the mixes are done and transfered to the digital domain.

I'm trying to reach out of my studio and find some new friends out there so please let me know what you think and please come back with any questions or whatever.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Babooino, unfortunately I do not have a site for the studio as for now. But as soon as I have something it sure would be an honor to be listed among those places. I'll get back to you in the matter ASAP.

Nice place you have too!

Great tread!
I'll have to try and make me a small website and
put it on there...
A sub-category I've been working on is
finding all studios w/ 1" 8trks, that's my format of choice!

Best of luck,

Tom

Sounding good, I really like recording live in the studio especially to tape.

I've just released a track from my band we did like that, everyone in the same room, live to 2" (Soundcraft 760) then mixed to 1/4" 30ips (Studer B67)

I also used our echo chamber rather than any digital effects to complete the analogue geekyness.

We made a quick video (45 mins to shoot it) too. We didn't shoot to film though...

They are both covers, The first is a Mississippi Fred McDowell song, the other is R L Burnside.

We have original material in the same sort of bag but these are the ones that came out best from that session.
