Here's the official video of song I produced, recorded, mixed and mastered for the band Final Thought from Toronto.

Hope you like the song and the mix!

Love it

Sounds huge man! Great tones/sounds, production, arrangement. I dig the song as well. What do you use for mastering?

Great job!
The drums have an interesting quality to them, what did you to them, especially on the verses?

Nice dynamics in this track. The song is very good, like the intensity in the verses. Like the production.

Thank you! An SSL bus compressor and FGX.

Thanks! Well, on the verses it's a blend of the live drums and a loop we created.

hej luc,

sounds ridiculously good, a new favorite for me

may i ask you which reverb you use on spx90 if you still use it? and do you gate the reverbs? if yes, how you do it?

thank you,

JiD.

Thanks JiD!

I don't use the SPX90 anymore! I mix totally the box now! I normally don't gate the reverb but if I do, I would simply set the hold/release time to the tempo of the song so that the decay matches the beats.

Thanks! No slate drums at all in this mix. Only custom samples!

Sounds really great. Kind of a "pleasant" tone in the high end, not quite sure how to describe it. Really well done piece of work, thanks for sharing!
