First Album

Hey guys

I recently finished my album. Tell me what you think.

Op. 4 | Albert McKay

I thought it was really good, but then I listened to The Alan Parsons Project and feel like my album's too produced. What do you think?

Listening through and track 3 sounds nice so far. While I'd disagree^ and say the midrange is probably about up to 3db (double perceivable volume) then some of the bottom end in the songs in a few sections. The cool thing though about electronic/controlled instruments is that you have more options when it comes to eq-ing and choosing what FQ range is strongest and where.

Nah just balance out your instruments right and see what should take over and when. I like the stuff a lot, very VGM style. I dig it. If anything I'd say some of the material could benefit from some sort of drum or percussive element

Ya, I think the next one I do I'll have my drummer add parts to.
