My unfinished and never to be finished song Thought I Heard Something

I recorded this song about a year ago, in my bedroom, by myself over about a day and a half. I just came up with a simple rhythm line and recorded an improvised solo over it.

It was one of the few things that I produced that I did purely out of fun and it turned out being one of my favorite works...I love that.

Tell me what you think, the mix is a little soft, I didn't do any sort of mastering and there is no compression on the mix or just about anything for that matter. The drums are my shoddy attempt at programming something using BFD, but I love my guitar tone through out which was recorded via a Pod Pro 2.0 during the first solo and a Mesa Mark IV for the second which I stuffed in my closet and put a Behringer Condenser and a SM57 in front of the Avatar 2x12 cab.

The true Gem in this song, at least for me is the kick ass synth solo...
