I was trying to be somewhat humble before but because of you're jealous posts I must say that my mix sounds better than 99% of the stuff on the radio today, enough said. Just appreciate the greatness don't fight it. You must believe in yourself to be in this biz boys. If you can't handle it try banking or something along those lines...

No really I think the drums are to thin and the vocals are too far back in the mix. I also think the guitars while they sound good are taking too much space in the mix, and need a couple of dbs shaved off to make them sit better. It's all subjective anyway. Alot of the shit on the radio does suck.

It's good but not great... far from professional

If it's greatness you're after, then you need to ask more questions here on gearslutz.com

shitty you had to be ass about it though

I figured you were just being sarcastic when I first read the initial post, and then I was convinced of it when I heard the muddy, undefined mix that does sound very much like a sound check. Then I read this thread and everyone was taking the post seriously, and I am thinking, c'mon he was joking. But you weren't. UNBELIEVABLE. Maybe YOU should consider banking. Yes, lots of people lack confidence where they shouldn't, but misplaced confidence is just as bad, and arrogance is worse and attacks on people you don't know are unwarranted. What radio station do you listen to so I can avoid it?

Oh my God. I had that on cassette years ago and forgot all about it. It was funny at 13. For some strange reason, though it shouldn't be, it's still funny now at 33. Was it "Green Hell"?

it sounds really good! sounds very full, i like it. like someone said earlier, could you describe the equipment and the techniques you used to record some of the stuff, in particular the guitars and vocals?

Thought it would be a nice way to break the ice!

No but seriously, I've heard a lot of tit bits from this guy but nothing to back it up. And he's started signing his posts BCgood, which if I'm correct is another user here, right?

Well it all just smacks of trollism to me, and seeing as how valuable this forum is it would be a shame to see time wasted in this manner.

P.S. Why did you PM me back saying "Anytime!!"

I thought I knew this song...

and yes, search for "drive" by "All star united" in iTunes. Yup, it was released like this in 1997. I actually have the cd, it's ok but nothing sonically stellar as we've all concluded

And some liner notes:
Engineered by Marc Chevalier (csilt :-) ?), additional engineering Russ Long, Gregg Jampol, mixed by Mark Freegard, mastered at Mastermix Nashville.

No shit.
