Is that one of the original acoustic guitars shifted down an octave in the next section? Sounds really cool. And Marissa's parts sound killer in that section as well. Pretty trippy.

Well finally got around to doing a mix of this!..

What a great initiative this is, just stumbled on this yesterday looking for a great track to mix. After mixing I browsed through the mixes that are already there, main things I noticed are that there are quite some bass-heavy versions (something to take care of I think), great variations of effects on vocals and guitars, and some people did things to the drums I really need to dive into because that was hard for me to get it out.

I kept my mix relatively tight (at lead I tried) and hope there are some people here that are willing to give me some feedback. In exchange I'll of course review your version to see if I can come up with improvements, hopefully that is, because I am still trying to increase my mixing mileage.

There are some nice moments in this song.

Here is my take.

I added some interest to the Juno to help push along the song at certain intervals.
It was hard finding the right ambiance to enhance certain instruments. Although I am happy with the ambiance on the lead vocal.
