Rock Mix - How is it sounding?

So, we are gonna be releasing an EP soon, but we thought, why not record a single first to release the band on facebook and all that. So we recorded this in my apartment. We couldn't record real drums for the single, it is SSD played with some midi drums. The amps are Blackstar ht-40 and mesa boogie 5:50
The bass was recorded using a Sansamp di and a mark bass TA503 head. Please let me know how it sounds. Im thinking the drums need more power, specially the snare.

Thanks!

I think it's a pretty tight mix - nicely spread across the frequency and stereo spectrums. It's easy to hear each instrument, yet it creates a nice 'wall of sound'. Have you considered doing a double on the vocal? I like the tune and the mix.

sounds very good. I would maybe use some parallel compression on the vocals. I feel like sometimes the vocals get lost in the mix

Cool tune, seems a little heavy in the low mids to me but overall pretty tasty track.

IMO
Drums are good.
I agree it is a little thick in the low mids.I think if you had the guitar lower in the 1st verse it would add a more dynamics,it seems like you did in the 2nd?The bass mirrors the guitars,I could just hear places where the bass could differentiate itself and add some movement here and there,it would be adding character. Also,I get tired processing the harmony vocals all the way thru the song.It would be nice to have them at the right accent spots and chorus maybe.

Sounds ballpark OK to me. I'd spend the rest of your effort to get the lead vocal and guitars to sit in the mix and convey the clarity and authority you require. I would say that your guitars occupy vast real estate for a track with this much vocal content. The vocal appears drier than needed, and with more top fizz, than I'd consider necessary. The drums sound pretty inconspicuous to me, and that is commendable given their origin.
