Listen to this track please! :)

Hi guys. I'm a budding Songwriter/ Engineer/ Producer.

i'm 25 years old and i'm working hard to try be the best I can in all aspects of music production. My goal is to continue writing until i have 15 songs pitch ready, then take a year to focus on trying to get placements with Artists.

Any info or pointers are much appreciated.

Here's the first Track "All The Things" a couple of tweaks are needed on the mix but i'm pretty happy with it. I played everything and wrote it all. The most thrilling part for me was Vocal coaching the female vocalist I had. It was a first for me in the drivers seat with nobody to turn to for an answer.

Really curious as to if you guys like it or not. Love Gearslutz - Peace - Tommy

thanks for the compliment tommy. Your track sounds good! It's got more of an indie rock feel to it that's not necessarily my cup o tea but I know a lot of people like that style. My only advice is that the vocals are a little too up front. Also, the drums sound un-produced, but I think this is what you're going for with the indie-rock style. Good work

edit* I just listened to this on studio monitors instead of my laptop speakers and it filled the song out a lot in the low end, but I think the vocals are still a bit loud on the verses. Your vocalist is amazing btw

Thank you for your input my man! Yes Heather is an unbelievable vocalist... I didn't tune anything, she's all natural. As for the drums, that was my idea alright... I know the track lacks a little in places but would you consider it "Pitch Ready"?

I also aree with the vocals - need to be ducked down a lot. This whole thing was done in my bedroom with one microphone and a laptop...
