A Song Tracked and Mixed on a Behringer MX9000

All MX9000 preamps, mixed OTB on this console, no plug-ins or automation, just some outboard dynamics and reverb.
I think that it doesn't sound as bad as the word "Behringer".

I can post the whole list of gear used on this seassion if anyone is interested.

Preamps don't matter. :P

It sounds good. I might make different mix decisions from what you (or whoever) has made. But it sounds recorded well enough to be mixed for release.

For me the whole "Behringer hate" thing is more of a realistic criticism in the area of long term reliability than in overall sound quality. A lot of their stuff while not all that interesting or special sounding nonetheless sounds just fine in use.

Don't tell that to the name brand gear Gestapo though. They'll beat you with a lunchbox full of 512s.

it's not cork-sniffy good (which is the fun of gearslutting?) but it's good. good job. that quirky squeeze box sound got a bit grating after a bit, but that's the instrument not the mixer
