Some advice on this heavy rock mix?

http://soundcloud.com/slater05/wake-up-sws

Here is a song that I did the recording/editing/mixing/mastering for. Unfortunately I don't exactly have a pristine environment for mixing as the basement suite that I share with a roommate only allows for my desk to go in my bedroom haha! So I believe that I've gotten it 'almost there' and would love some suggestions on how to finalize it.

I like the mix a lot. Only thing that jumped out at me through first listen was the hi-hats sounded a little brittle on my setup. All other levels sound very good. Maybe lower somewhere around 14-16khz on the hats and lower them a tad? Just an idea...I'd have to hear it both ways lol. This sounds good though!

So I've updated the first link, I tried 3 times to upload the .wav file, but sound cloud would get to 100% uploaded and then freeze... so it's only an mp3.

I've tried to bring the lead vocal up, give it some more low end, and make the snare a lot snappier.

Any thoughts?

maybe a little hi end sizzle to the snare? Don't over do it...but something to make it cut just a bit more?
