sounds like the drummer mixed it. The drums sound good, just a little hot.

Samples? Also sounds like the snare track is clipping.

Sounds good. I guess it is supposed to be drums over everything else as in demo of drummer playing. Sometimes sounds like snare is clipping indeed.

Obviously the drums are way to upfront. Dig the playing though, and if your really not using samples ima buy me one of those snares. Thats the Vinnie Paul right?

yes, its vinnie paul.

snare is 100% real, i just compressed it and used transient designer to get more punch. this pearl snare drum works the best on remo emperor coated head. tuned it to B, so it's pretty low. also, we replaced original strings to 40-string puresound. it helped to make the snare sound more "sss" after hit.

important thing is that our drummer hits snare every time with rim shot. the sound of the snare is more intense and pulls out sustain

the only sample was on kick drum

by the way, here you can hear how that drums sound mixed in a normal song (drums start about 0:37)
