..............on my computer speakers the vocal sounds really sybillant, sounds like really fast attack comp on the 2 bus or even on the vox themselves might be exagerratng this but to my ears it really sticks out.....I don't know if maybe next time you track her you might anticipate this or simply take a bit more care when de-essing.......honestly what I find can rescue less than ideal tracking is drawing the esses down in the daw by about 4 or 5 db's and then if necessary using a little bit of de-esser, was the track professionally mastered? surprised the mastering engneer didn't catch this, but anyway congrats.

mastering engineer didn't noticed cause I mastered this

okay, thanks for help, I would pay more attention to ess'es -

also, You need to know that in our language (polish) esses are very important, i know it sucks, but we speak like this (with very loud and clear s, c, etc) when I use to much desser, she could sound unnatural, like she has speak problems :D

I wasn't so struck by sibilance on the lead vocal listening on AKG 271 phones. By that I mean I've learned to expect moderate crispness in this genre, and your production fits my expectation.

Good luck to you and the artist. I think the track sounds pretty nice.

Sibilance didn't really bother me that much. The one thing that really distracted from this song was the snare sound. It just bothers me. Also I feel like the cymbals and hi-hat could have been brought up.

Other than those criticisms, . Good luck.

Sonically it sounds good, I wasn't particularly keen on the song, it sounds too clinical. + there isn't any sort of development, sounds pretty much the same all the way through. Didn't feel any excitement. Girl has no emotion in her voice. But well done on the mix. Feels like drums are programmed as well, without much of excitement either.

I think the mix is pretty solid.

Only just a little bothered by the snare during the verses, just like 2dB too loud ... but sounds fine in the choruses.

Nice work!

At first I thought it's gonna be a straight Polish cover of Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Sounds pretty damn good. Agree with the snare comment on the verses. A little loud. Wanted a new texture at about 1:30 (chorus). And a drum beat change would be nice there, too. A bit more rocking with a cymbal wash or something. But, dude, good sounds. Good arrangement.

thanks for advices

the arrangement - especially on drums is forced by polish music market :/ main radio station don't want to play songs with more complicated drums.. this is sad..

Is it posible that I've heard that song on "Znad Wilii" radio, here in Vilnius?

Anyway, fantastic job, both song and mixing
I would have to agree about pattern change in chorus. Maybe some distorted electronic loop in background would do the job.

I thought it sounded sweet! I really like the feel of the song. I guess you can call it "clinical", I just think it's cool. I have to agree thought the girl has no emotion in her voice. The song is still cool, and maybe that's the vibe she was going for (based on the music video I'd say it fits). However, I think it could have helped if she had put some emotion in the vocals.
