Haven't had as much time as I'd like to have had at this point with the song, but this is my first mix. Very cool top 40 feel, great tune!

You've done an excellent job on the vocals here man, whatever processing you've done they sound fantastic. I think your snare sound lets the mix down slightly though, if it had a bit more room sound or 'spread' and was a bit brighter I think the mix would be perfect. Great stuff!

Cheers, Mark.

Ok, here's the updated mix. I've automated a few more things, added a little more verb on my snare aux and brightened it up a bit. Hope you guys enjoy!

Hi All ....

Here's my entry ....

http://soundcloud.com/byron-pinto/sing-your-song

My Notes
--------

1. I wish that the guitars where not "premixed" so that i could work with the individual tracks and position them better ( But on the bright side.. Lesser for me to do )

2. Vocals sound great ...

3. The hook is god damn awesome and so catcy ..

4. From a production standpoint . the intro is a lil boring so i copied the synth part there .. Also the ending is very repetitive so i did cut it a bit shorter

5. I swear if this song had some variation towards middle . It should win something

I'm surprised more people haven't had a go with this track, great chorus.
I would have sooner if i had been less busy.

Anyway, here's my mix. I programmed my own drums instead of using the supplied ones and added a chorus harmony. Great job on this song!

Fix :
Snare Eq was in bypass. No wonder snare was so dull .

Better now
