Here's a recording from my studio. It's a simple home set up in my basement. We work on an Imac G5 and a Digi 002r. The production and mix are by Brandon Croft who has been a wonderful employee and the band is RunnerUp out of St. Louis MO. The kids are super talented IMO. They're still working on writing some quality songs and their musicianship is very good for their age, also my opinion. We at the studio would like some critiques as we are constantly looking to move up to a higher level and the band would also like feedback and to know what you think. I'd appreciate it if you guys could take a minute and listen to a couple of songs by RunnerUp.

cool arrangement, cool song, cool mix, but sonically it's really hard to listen to. The top end is killing me.

This would sound amazing tracked in the right studio, and mixed properly.

Agreed. The top end is too much. Upper mids are too in your face. Missing some meat on the bottom end too. But that could starighten out a bit if the upper mids were in check... Not a fan of the whiny complaining vocal sound, but not bad as far as musicianship goes. Great start.
