Prog-rock mixes - The Mercury Tree

Hey everyone,

I'm a longtime GS reader, first time poster. I recently completed a self-produced album for my progressive rock band, The Mercury Tree. Our major influences include King Crimson, Rush, and Pink Floyd. If you're interested in this kind of music, you can download the album for free here:

I used Pro Tools MP to record and mix the tracks. I would love to hear any feedback on the music and/or mixing quality. Also, you can find the band on Facebook here:

Thanks,
Ben

Cool songs,

I really liked the delayed rhodes in the intro to Cephalopod.
The guitar is a little bit loud on some tracks, and the vocals might need some tweaking to shine though the mix.

Always nice to see some KC fans

The intro of Cephalopod is all guitar and bass harmonics! That is awesome that it came off sounding like Rhodes, that makes me happy. Thanks for listening. We are all huge KC fans. Managed to catch the Three of a Perfect Trio on their recent stop in Portland, definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen.
