How about Disco Pimping?

Hello my dear friends!

I start nice... so you would be nice to me with your comments!

The song is in the electronic progressive discohouse genre!? You'll get the idea and the must have unimportant facts is:

Bassline-Monopoly
Subbass-OSCar
Lead-Ms20
Second Lead-Sh101
Pads-Supernova
Backwords chords-Nord Lead
Drums-Machinedrum & DM5.

Recorded thrugh Motu 828mk2. Mixed in Cubase, submixed with Spirit328 and processed by Fatso, CIB and TC Tripple C.

Disco Pimp

Bring in the tomatos now!

Sounds pretty cool man. The baseline gets a little redundant for me and the song could use some better production, for instance better samples and drums sprinkled here and there. At any rate I listened longer to this tune than I do to a lot of stuff posted in here, so take that as a compliment.

I think it's cool... LIke the mix toe!

It reminds me of that good ol gay band Boytronic - I would love to have Happy Mondays vocals on this and some ganja delays...

Cool stuff man. Groovy toe!

great mix, i like the tautness of it, the bottom is real tight. the top is not harsh and over-boosted, instead i hearlots of subtle ear candy up there. so it was entertaining for me to listen to..each new incarnation of drum sounds had some ring of "acoustic truth to it which you find by listening deep and turning up the volume, and to feel the groove.. it was" in the pocket" for me, the dynamics are not too limited, but maybe consider a slightly less controlled feeling about the dynamics, more "open", it could use a touch more "air" and still have a similar "driving" tension...

Yeah, don't we all want better productions! The only thing that's sampled is the handclaps and crashes... but I will take it as a compliment that you listened to more than the intro!

Thanks for your well defined review and nice words! thumbsup

Thanks for the critisism. Maby I'll turn off the trippel C to get a little more dynamics? Have to listen to it again!

And for all you other people... It's not to late to post your comments! It may be late where you are but then it's early here!
