API 5500 EQ into a Distressor. The delay is just Waves Supertap.

The Distressor had a highpass in the detector, Distortion 3, and it was in opto.

I'm monitoring on Genelec 1031as and Auratones.

not sure how appropriate it is for this thread, but i'd been very keen to know what people used and where they used it for their mixes.

could be a long list but very interesting none the less.

also, does anyone notice any difference in their mp3 files before and after upload. i think somethings going on with the way gearslutz handles mp3. seems my vocals always end up louder and more hyped than the mp3 on my computer when i compare them?

Not tying to diss but the bottom end of this this mix is blowing out my 'reference' speakers and sounds very strange on cans.

maybe time for a recall.

Hats off to Jonathan, Brian and co, the best one yet imho. Fantastic arrangement and a swinging band. Can't wait to mangle it for my remix.

I upload new mix with some little corrections.

Everytime I hear this song I discover new details, feelings and sounds.

Love for all.

Hey guys,

I'm loving a lot of these mixes! Man - we're kinda blown away. The view count on this video is over 5 times anything else we've done! Vimeo featured it on their home page.

I see that vimeo embedding has been enabled here now.... that's amazing. I'll add links that way, now.

Thanks, everyone!

Hey guys... I know all of you are great fans and you understand the infinite value these high quality tracks have for you. Brian's never even asked for any money or tried to make it paid... Help them get their third season off the ground. They've added a bonus raw track/stem set you get if you donate $15!

I thought i should mixdown before my trial versions of Fabfilter EQ, Gate & Limiter expired; I used these pretty much exclusively. Shame I didn't have a trial of their Pro-C.

Anyway, if you're not Snowmined out after listening to everybody else's mixes, here's mine. Comments always welcome.

Great song!

Here it is. Any criticism is welcomed. It's my first time posting one of these... Though I've been downloading stems for a bit now from these guys and using them to practice mixing. Keep it up guys.

My mix. Had some tasteful fun with the vocals and with the tamborines. The mix title comes from attempting a 5.1 mix. Ultimately ended up being stereo. Will listen to the other mixes when I get back home. Cheers.

Hi Brian,

I was wondering if someone could send me a link for the download. I entered my address on the page you provided but the only message I ever got was informing me of a remix deadline. I'd really appreciate it! my email is Thomas at thomasdulin dot com.

Thanks again,

td
