Question How's this for a guitar tone? (metal content)

Hey guys,
I would really appreciate if i could get some feedback from you.. short clip i recently recorded, tell me how do you like the guitar tone...

I like it. Its got a bit of hardness though. But thats easy to tame if you dont like it.

What was the setup?

The setup was: Gibson LP Studio into Mesa/Boogie Studio22+ with Boss Ge-7 graphic eq in fx-loop, and miked with this mic:

With all due respect, to ME it sounds a bit artificial.
more like a pod than a big amp in a room.

I think introducing a bit of depth into the sound somewhere would be an improvement.

Artificial? hmmm.. well, it was recorded with the master on my amp on about 1.2/10 and it's a 22 watt 1*12 combo.. and in my bedroom.. so it's not a big, loud amp in a studio, definately..

what kind of depth do you mean?

Sounds nothing like a Pod. You have never heard a pod if think that. The pod does not have that hardness.
