New ugly indie pop-songs from my band!

Check these out if you want to.. Comments are more than welcome!

I put this up a while a go and got extraordinary comments that really helped me in mixing - thanks alot!

..now we recorded som new stuff, in a funky small studio with another guy behind the desk. He liked us alot, so he gave us free day in his studio - we recorded seven whole songs in one day! Quite exhausting..

...just wanted to share it with you guys. You´ve been very helpful!

The vocals are hurting my ears. I understand where you want to go but I still think you could soften the guitars, vocals to make the song warmer but still rough, garage sounding. I think the mix is pretty cool though but not pleasing to my ears - I would play with the panning to - making it feel even more retro. Drums in one speaker etc. Just my two cents! Thanks for sharing.

labour was fun - like the vocals and feel. The mix is ok but not great.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Cool, DimLight, that you take your time! Always great to get feedback..
The mixes were actually made by the guy behind the desk - nice fella by the way!
I think our sound is heading in the right direction, innit? Will think of the panning of the drums by the way. Isnt it hard to make mono-compatible, though?

Snart är det påsk!

edit: corrected misspelling

Mixing is hard - Listen in mono/stereo and try to find the right pans for everything. It's nice to mix in mono. I will do it today...

I was thinking of the retro feel - drums on one side etc... Just a thought! Keep it up!
