Songs in diffrent styles: Ready for Bizz, "style-authentically"? pls some feedback

Hi there,

I'm a Swiss based songwriter, produer & guitarist, here's my site:

http://www.martytone.com

I post here some of my songs/productions - it would be great if I can get some critique/feedback, espeacially regarding...

* Are the compositions & productions "authentically" for their style?
* Is it realistic to offer the songs internationally to Labels etc, have the songs a realistic chance to be picked by a professional request (songs for artists, TV Placement, etc)?

I'm asking that because I'm not English-native as well as here are some business-experienced people around.
I like to write and produce in diffrent genres, but I'm not an expert in every single genre (well, who is that...). That's why I'd like to hear your feedback.

Here are the tracks:

*Style: RnB, Soul*

beyond goodbye

saving grace

=========

*Style: Pop*

older

let me love you
...this is really an old production, I was quite young - so forgive me the mistakes I made

==========

*Style: Rock*

Save tonight

dreamin' with you

==========

Style - hmm... don't know a name, so let's call it *other stuff*

freaky
(that's a instrumental track, drum 'n Bass crossover with guitars).

the other side
(that's a triphop/Rock influenced song, w/vocals)

meditation-music
(instrumental)

technosolo
(not really a song, just a short solo I played when I was 20 - just for fun).

btw: I'm always open for collaborations (co-writing, etc) and am working a lot in teams (real meetings as well as over the internet/ftp-servers etc).
So if anybody is interested, just PM me.

Thanks for your feedback,

Gitarrero

Just be true to your talents, your songs and what you feel. Your music is your brain child. Do it 'til it feels right to you. Music is like opinions ya know. Yours is what matters the most. That way success or no success, you will still be musically satisfied.

...you just grabbed a very old post...

well I think - provided that someone want to earn his living of his/her music - both is true: I think one need to be true to yourself, but at the same time take a look at "what the market needs" - this doesn't mean to "sell out" at all; if we just check out we WE like AND what the market needs and do what fits both criteria, then it'll work.

I did that and it works fine for me (and my partners in the market)
