Instrumental shows "Explosions in the sky" "This will destroy you"

Hello

Does anyone have any experience putting on and playing an instrumental show? more specifically in the style of post rock, heavily melodic/symphonic, loud break ins etc.? basically like 'Explosions in the sky' and 'This will destroy you'?

im planning on putting on a show in the very near future and just wondering if anyone has any advice on playing an instrumental show?

Does anyone have any experiences from watching these kind of shows...what were you looking for? the over all experience.

sorry for the shallowness of this question just would appreciate some pointers

thanks
