Thread Starter | Metal version of Seal's "Kiss From a Rose"
Would love some feedback on this song and mix. It's an intentionally over-the-top metal version of our favorite seal song. Enjoy! http://soundcloud.com/sloafmaster/kiss-from-a-rose-mix-2 |

I love the tune....but the drums are a little distant. Kick is a little mushy. Sounds more of a low end woof than a snap. But over all nice. Guitars sound good. |

I agree with the comment on the drums. As a personal preference, I think that the beginning should be a a little bit softer in dB and in timbre, so that when the hard parts come in, they come off as that much more forceful. As far as the song itself, this is hilariously awesome.

Very good job. I'll agree about the drums being too quiet. Great vocals and guitar.

Thanks for the constructive criticism! I'll print a more-drums version after work today and see what you all think.
