jazz song long time ago

me and a friend recorded when i was new to recording - i played the drums and also mixed record etc...

I like this one...

the guitar was recorded through a tech 21 trademark 10 with sm57.. drums are only overheads... rode's cheap stuff... we recorded this in 4 hours at my home.

I'm not a drummer but I think the drums work pretty ok?

feedback welcome - this song is finished but it's always cool to get some feedback... what can i say i'm drunk....

Sweet and pretty. The organ's a nice touch in the middle section. Yeah, you can tell you're not a drummer but the brushes sound nice none the less... maybe a bit loud in spots. The guitar is very tastefully played.

Thanks for the feedback. Would be fun to go back and automate the drums - I agree on the dynamics on the drums.

Cheers!

This sounds good! The organ and electric piano are a nice touch. The guitars are really smooth too.

dank you mr!

Yeah the guitar sounds pretty cool despite the tech 21 trademark 10. The organ is a vsti - played on a small small german midi keyboard.
