Drums to soft? tomuch swing or is it good? mix suggestions please

Americana folk grass, something...
I've haven't posted and asked for feedback so I thought I'd give it a try.
Thanks for any input.

I like it. Can't say a lot about the mix due to my listening environment here, but it sounds pretty good to the extent I can tell. The song is cool and bounces along nicely. Maybe it's just these speakers but perhaps EQ'ing a little mids out of the reverb send could be an experiment to try?

Thanks for the feedback! In this mix, I added a bit of another drum take in parts and rolled the verb back on the vocals as well.

After these hard times tune

The drummer doesn't think this is good enough for the CD but I'm in the get it done mode. i think at the moment the kick might be to much but I'm not sure.
What do you think?

The first thing I noticed is that the acoustic guitar has a lot of reverb, and the snare drum sounds quite dry in contrast. I would use less reverb on the guitar, and add a bit (more?) of the same ambience to the snare.
The toms sound a bit unnaturally loud and dry to me too..
Also I wish I could hear the bass a tiny bit more. maybe.
If it was me, I might try a longer reverb on the vocals, but mix it quieter. It sounds like a small lively room.

Hell no
This was my first though too - in a small group we want less reverb because we want that intimate feel. Still, after a minute of listening I found the room on the guitar to be exactly what makes the track different - and interresting. In music there shouldn't be too much democracy. A friendly and understanding dictatorship is much preferred

If you try to be everything to everybody you'll end up being nothing to nobody. Do it your own way!

This I agree on more, though - but as I said: Don't listen to me

thanks for the feed back. I really want it to sound original but still not have any ear sores that distract you from the song. I kind of want the guitars to clash a little. i think it gives the song some urgency in which I was trying to add.
thanks for taking the time to listen.
