Something in me says that there's a little bit to much bass in it, and that's maybe the point why the vocal is more on the background.

I'm not a mixing engineer or something and I'm not into this genre but that's what I hear....

Sounds really good, except I have to echo the vocals being too quiet. But the tones you got for everything are spot on - I've never heard Pod Farm sound so good. Care to share what amps and settings you used please? (Or presets, if you're feeling particularly kind)

The song itself sounds great - can totally hear that on the radio.

Definitely this sounds good for pop punk. Guitars are way too loud though.

Thumbs up

it's clipping! AHHHHHH.

I like the explosive drums. Vocals are a bit buried... at certain times. Bass is muddying up a lot of the frequencies.

But overall, it's pretty good. This probably isn't your final mix anyway. Keep us posted, bro.

Sounds a little unbalanced to me. I could be wrong. The song itself though is great. Those vocals are awesome. I would definitely ride to this, I'm nodding my head as I write this

thanks guys! after listening with fresh ears, I definitely agree with the loud guitar/quiet vox combo.

I think the trick with podfarm is to not use the supplied cabinet sim and to use an external plugin for loading impulses. one such vst I am fond of is called aradaz ourcabinet, it only uses preloaded impulses though but they are pretty nice

Definitely need to take a bit of low end off the kick, toms and guitars. Steven Slate always gives way more low end than you need. Try like 60hz for the kick and sweep around for the toms and guitars. Also hi pass the guitars.
