Prodigy Experience - a style test...

I decided to try if I could copy the style and mood from Prodigy's Experience album.

Here's a quick test:
a short prodigy style test...

All comments and suggestions are welcome

The whole mix sounds really good and the programmed drum tracks sound great. The one thing I could even say is that the synths could be "dirtier" as in analog style dirty or some sort of crunchy distortion or even some extra sparkle to make it cut more, just to complete the feel. The Prodigy are known for their crunchy sound.

The synth sound from "Omen Reprise" comes to mind. Listen to the fatness and width of that sound. You've got the right arrangement, the right style, just some extra depth and fatness and you are there! Sounds good! thumbsup

The song has two parts, 1 & 2.

Part 1:
- Battery 3 feeding two tracks: one without processing, the other one with Cytomic Glue (overdriving the signal) + EQ.
- Eurorack modular does the bass synth: three times recorded and slightly panned around the stereo image to give the bass a little bit width.

Part 2:
- Battery 3 still doing the same thing.
- Sylenth1 creates the synth bass (placeholder sound).

That's it. No other processing to the sound.
