Thread Starter | some spontaneously created/recorded X Mass songs
Hi all: I have about 400 spontaneously created/recorded songs on this site, and the most recent have a holiday theme. It is done as a live 1 man band, with real drums, cymbals, harp, guitar, vocal. It is all live, no overdubs, edits, very little to no eq, and a bit of reverb added. It takes about 10 minutes or less, per song, to mix and add to the soundclick site as an mp3. I post a bunch from each session there. Because of the vast volume of songs I do (300 full length cds this year), I don't have time for doing detailed mixes, cover art, etc. I just burn them on a blank cd, write the title of the session on them with a marker, put them in a blank jewel case, and sell them off the stage for $7. I make about 15 copies of each session, and when they are gone, they are gone forever. I am like sidewalk art...... I call it Spontobeat. Happy Holidays!
