^I'd have to say the same thing. Very well done and a nice track.

It goes like this: Fine track you got going there. I like it alot. The whole track seems to revolve around the drums and that heavy bass line. Now the hammer drops: Dude, there's a SERIOUS groove going on in the drums. Take that kik and SHOVE it as far forward as you can and give that thing some serious STOMP! Just kick people in the face with awesome. Seriously, it's in there, just gotta find it. The toms were a bit weak as well, give them some gas! Seriously, the track is fine as it is, but beefing up the drums will give it some serious drive, even more than what it has going on. Bass could prolly be a bit more forward, not by much though, it's about in the pocket. I'm guessing a touch of clarification and it will be perfect. Everything else seemed really in the pocket and spot on. Other than that its pretty darn awesome. |

Sure you havent kidnapped Leonard Cohen? Really good track, dig the gtr groove and singers attitude. The guitar solo sounds overdubbed as or played in octaves, cool effect that makes it big. Excellent backup vocals too. I disagree with the others about wanting more kick drum. I think the groove gets thru just fine between the other instruments and might be lost with too much kick drum. The cymbals sound is loud but i think i like them loud, real high quality OH sound. Perhaps the direct mics are on the low side which is how you got such a clear un-phasey sound out of the overheads.

Hi All, Sorry I have been lax in my response...late night session and I am beat..lol Thanks so much for the excellent critiques and comments, they are well received and I will make sure that they are taken into consideration. The song is not yet mastered so maybe many of the low-end concerns can be addressed then. Look forward to hearing more... Morgen |
