Recording and mastering experts help needed

Hello,

I'm starting my own recording studio project and I need some experts help.

Next September 2010 I will start to record an acoustic band. They likes the sound of the attached songs (Specially the sound of the voice, but also piano and guitar).

What kind of equipments do you think was used to record this songs (mics, tube preamps, effects, etc.)?

Digital or analogic?

Mastering tools?

Well... I can invest some money at this moment and if you think I need some concrete equipment in order to get this sound.... Your opinions will be welcome
