If you can hear this song in some nice monitors (not like my Behringer) your opinions will be welcome. No lyrics at this moment, sorry. Only music. Thanks a lot in advance http://www.gearslutz.com/board/attac...1&d=1272380526 |

Ease up on the attempted panning "tricks"...I liked the first min. but couldn't listen any more and had to turn it off for fear of hypnosis lol My 2 cents

I would like to hear it after you track some vocals. Don't use too much delay...just guessin lol Just havin fun here, but I do think the song could be cool....sometimes less special effects is more effective when you do use them. | |

I agree with the panning comment by Yetti. The hard panned crash is bugging me, I would put it maybe like 60-80 and bring it down a tad. Maybe have a second crash on the other side and switch between them at some musical interval. The drums are pretty decent sounding, not that nuts about the kick sound, though. The intro could use some playing around to sound more human, maybe use a larger variety of samples. Also sounds like there something clipping somewhere on occasion, maybe on the bass, the bass seems generally unruly to me and doesn't seem to have much oomph or definition. It also seems to kind of kill your kick. I would limit it harder and EQ it differently. Try to get it to play with your kick better on the low end. I think the guitars would work really well if you get the panning and bass/drums issues worked out. Overall not bad, would like to hear with vocals.
